Randy Salter, J.D.
One of the most qualified tax resolution attorneys in the country, Randy is the Supervising Attorney at US Tax Shield. He oversees case management to ensure that the most effective and efficient resolution procedures are implemented for each client. In addition, Randy personally handles the most complex tax resolution cases, such as complicated payroll tax problems, high dollar liability cases, international tax disputes, foreign bank account issues and other intricate or unusual tax issues. He has successfully represented clients in hundreds of state and federal tax hearings and appeals.
Randy also has extensive experience in business, nonprofit, and criminal defense work, as well as general civil litigation, and has served as supervising attorney for a number of large corporations. He is trained as a mediator and has served as a professor of paralegal studies. Born and raised in Southern California, Randy holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Occidental College and Juris Doctorate from Southwestern University School of Law. He is admitted to the United States Tax Court and is a member of the Taxation Section of the California State Bar.
Matt Austin, J.D.
Matt specializes in tax law and is highly skilled at working with the IRS and state revenue agencies to resolve complex tax problems. He has focused exclusively on tax resolution for the past seven years, after several years in a civil litigation firm. He received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Florida, graduating with degrees in both Political Science and Criminology. Subsequently, Matt received a Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, and is a member of the California State Bar.
Terri A. Turner, J.D., MBA
Terri is a graduate of Pepperdine University School of Law in Malibu, and received her Bachelor of Science, Business Administration from the University of Arkansas (summa cum laude – GPA 4.0) with a double-major in Business Economics and Marketing, and minor in Communication. Having spent her professional career specializing in tax resolution, Terri’s goal is to help taxpayers not only resolve their tax debt problems, but to also work with them to make the necessary adjustments to keep it from happening again. She takes pride in her ability to walk her clients through the process to ensure understanding of all phases of resolution. Terri is a member of the California State Bar and the U.S. District Court, Central District of California.
Gloria Chon, J.D.
Gloria received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Los Angeles and a Juris Doctorate from American University, Washington College of Law. She is a Taxation Section member of the American Bar Association and the California State Bar. She specializes in resolving tax issues for individuals, businesses, and nonprofits.
